This all female 5 bedded residential home for youth offenders with severe challenging behaviour based in goodmayes, essex  is looking for 2 x Youth Workers to work as part of their team.  The candidate will be required to have extensive experience and knowledge working with youth offenders with severe challenging behaviour and self harming tendancies.  

The candidate will be required to have the following:

.   extensive experience and knowledge working with youth offenders with severe   
    challenging behaviour and self harming tendancies

.   excellent verbal and written communication skills

.  ability to use own initiative at all times

.  an understanding of children who have suffered abuse

.  ability to work as part of a team

.  knoweldge and understanding of ofsted's practice within a home

.  a strong professional attitude when dealing with challenging behaviour

.  good organisational skills
 

The candidate must have knowledge and understanding of:
