This 9 bedded residential home based in Harold Wood is looking for experienced support workers to work with drug and alcohol misusers, ex-offenders. Previous experience is essential for this position. Forensic experience would be an advantage but not essential. NVQ2/3 or equivalent preferred. Further training within the company will be required.

You must have:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

An understanding of the mental health act

Experience working with drug and alcohol misusers

You must be able to:

Work 12 hr shifts 9am - 9pm or 9pm to 9am

work unsupervised if necessary

work under pressure

face challenging situations

You must be able to undertake:

report writing

care planning
